Adware Alert Review - Is It A Rogue Or Suspect Anti Spyware?
Recently, I’ve observed an anti spyware software named Adware Alert to be on charts. When I browsed for the official website of Adware Alert, I was surprised to note that it claimed as the world’s leading adware and spyware remover.
Before ascertaining its claims, let us look whether Adware Alert is a rogue and suspect anti spyware software or not. Spyware Warrior website lists all sort of rogue and suspect anti spywares. You can even have a look at them. There is no mention of Adware Alert software in the List of Rogue Or Suspect Anti Spyware. So technically, it has cleared one hurdle.
To test it personally, I’ve downloaded Adware Alert software on my PC and installed it. Later conducted a thorough scan using that. Regularly, I use Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 software on my PC and love it. Even then it has shown me quiet unbelievable results. Are these results false positive?
In order to validate those results, I’ve purchased another anti spyware software – Spyware Doctor. Even this software furnished all the results thrown by Adware Alert. How can it be possible? After a through research, I came to know that my brother kept Kaspersky exit program. That is the reason why Kaspersky could not detect the faults.
So when I finally updated the Kaspersky, it has given a full list of infections that were detected by PC Tools’s Spyware Doctor and Adware Alert. Even though Adware Alert is a new entry, it has got good detection capabilities. But I’m not a big fan of it either. So I recommend installing better anti spyware software other than Adware Alert.
